Denmark's Prime Minister Helle Thorning-Schmidt leaves a EU Budget summit at the European Council building for a break, in Brussels on Friday, Feb. 8, 2013. European Union leaders closed in on a deal that would cut the bloc's budget for the first time in history and deliver a strong message that years of expanding EU powers were on the wane. If a deal emerges Friday, the budget would still need to be ratified by the European Parliament, and early signs suggest that may prove problematic. Taani plaanib ettevõtete tulumaksu alandada 22 protsendini, peaminister Helle Thorning-Schmidt kavatseb asjaga tegelema hakata juba sel nädalal, vahendab Helsingin Sanomat.

Praegu on Taanis ettevõtete tulumaks 25 protsenti, maksu langetamine ei puuduta pankasid.

Ajalehe sõnul arutletakse ka Soomes ettevõtete tulumaksu alandamist, kuid Jyrki Katainen on seni kiired maksualandused tagasi lükata. Praegu on Soomes ettevõtete tulemaks 24,5 protsenti.

Lisaks tulumaksule plaanib Taani ka käibemaksu alandamist hotellidele ja restoranidele.
